Pan-fried Tempeh Ingredients: 1 - 8 oz package of SoyBoy
Organic Tempeh (Soy or 5-Grain) Directions: Heat about ¼” of oil in a skillet until hot but not smoking. Slide tempeh into the oil. Fry until a deep golden brown on both sides (15 to 20 minutes). Drain and serve immediately as a snack with dips or in sandwiches. Suggestions: For tempeh burgers, cut the tempeh into 3” x 3” squares and prepare as above. Serve warm, crispy squares on bun with mustard, ketchup, onions, lettuce and tomatoes. |
